Answer:

The reason why we only see ~118 elements is because we only see the ones stable enough to observe. Anything common in nature would need to have a half-life comparable to the age of the earth (or be produced as a decay product of something else that does).

Explain how fertilizers are different from manure.

Fertilizers are inorganic substances manufactured in factories. Manures are relatively less rich in plant nutrients, they only remove the general deficiency of soil.

What is irrigation?

The process of watering the crops is called irrigation.

Describe two methods of irrigation.

Two methods of irrigation that help in the conservation of water are:

-> Sprinkler system: This system is useful on uneven land when there is a shortage of water supplies. In this method, water is supplied using pipes to one or more primary locations in the field. When water is allowed to flow under high pressure with the help of a pump, it gets sprinkled on the crops.

-> Drip system: In this system, water is delivered at or near the roots of plants, drop by drop. This is the most effective method of irrigation as there is no wastage of water. This method is very useful in areas where there is a lack of water.

hope it helps! :)
