Difference between fertilizers and manures-
Manure-
Manure is a natural substance obtained by the decomposition of cattle dung and plant residues.
Manure can be prepared in the field.
Manure provides a lot humus to the soil.
Manure is relatively less rich in plant nutrients.
Fertilizers-
Fertilizer is a man- made inorganic salt.
Fertiliser is prepared in factories.
Fertilizer doesn't provide any humus to the soil.
Fertilizers are very rich in plant nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.
