Microbes are not needed for fertilizers formation. Microbes are needed to form manure since they degrade the organic substances.

however fertilizers are made using chemical substances which may be harmful to our health

on the other hand manures are made from substances available in nature .these manures do not have harmful effects on health and instead they increase the nutrient   value of the crops grown in manure mixed soil
