The friction enables us to walk on the floor without the sleepage on the floor.

Explanation:

  • The friction is generated between the shoes and the road. This is the necessary force that enables one to walk on the ground.
  • As we move forward the reaction or force of friction enables us to push the ground in the forward direction.
  • The force of friction develops in between the sole of the foot and the ground that maintains a grip that is necessary for pushing the ground in the forward direction.
