\textbf{\underline{\underline{Answer}}}

The right ventricle pumps the oxygen-poor blood to the lungs through the pulmonary valve. The left atrium receives oxygen-rich blood from the lungs and pumps it to the left ventricle through the mitral valve. The left ventricle pumps the oxygen-rich blood through the aortic valve out to the rest of the body.

Blood enters the heart through two large veins, the inferior and superior vena cava, emptying oxygen-poor blood from the body into the right atrium.

Deoxygenated blood enters the right atrium from the vena cava.

The pulmonary artery carries deoxygenated blood to the lungs. Oxygenated blood leaves the lung via the pulmonary vein.
