How does the heart work?

• Firstly the blood with carbon dioxide from all the parts of the body is received by the right auricle and ventricle.

• Then the impure blood which is collected , is pumped to the lungs for purification.

• Then, in the lungs, the purification takes place by exchanging the gases and the purified blood is sent back to the left auricle.

• Then it pumps the blood to the left ventricle, which finally pumps the purified blood to all the parts of the body through arteries.

In this way the heart functions.

Your heart is divided into two separate pumping system the right side and the left side. The right side of heart receives oxygen-poor the impure blood is pumped to your lungs were it pick up oxygen and get rid of carbon dioxide.
