Explain how heat is conducted from the heated end of a rod to its cold end.

lets take an example of a iron rod-
when then one end of rod gets heated then as we knoe that the interparticle force of attraction is high so that,they are very close to each other and so when one particle gets heated then the other gets heated also in this way the other end of rod also gets heated.this process is called CONDUCTION.
