Explanation:

Heavy Rains cause floods because ,as there is a continuous rain,all the rivers ,canals and ponds will be get filled with water,so it causes overflow of water from the waterbodies.This flotage of water in a huge amount is Known as Floods.It causes Damage to Agricultural crops, many trees fall ,it causes soil erosion,Economic loss,etc...

Many aquatic animals will be affected by floods as they move along with floods from one region to the other where the conditions are not suitable for its survival and many of them die due to the force of the water and Many aquatic animals die as there will be no water for them when they reach the banks of the rivers after the flood duration.
