But on the water surface of the sea, the effect is noticeable in the form of rising water. On the surface nearer to the moon, when the sun, moon and earth are aligned due to the attractive forces in the same direction, high tides are formed. On the surface away from sun and moon, low tides are formed.

high tides and low tides are formed by the gravitational force of moom on earth's surface.both the tides occur at an interval of 12hours.ifan high tide occurs at 12noon after fifteen minutes a low tide occurs and again after 15min a high tide is formed and so on
