Explain how homologous and analogous organs support the theory of organic evolution ?

It supports the theory of divergent evolution which states that organism having homologous organ have evolved from the same common ancestors but have changed accordingly adaptation in their organ which appears same but perform different funtions.

Analogous, organs have different developmental origin and structural design but perform similar function,e.g. the wings of birds and insects are analogous organs indicating that they have different, ancestors but have a convergent evolution. In this way, analogous organ supports the theory of organic evolution.
