Explanation:

Due to the Industrial revolution that happened in England, Indian handicraft products lost its sheen in the foreign market. Indians could not compete with the large scale productions using machines.

Railways were then introduced in India which helped the British to bring the colorful and cheaper machine made products into the rural Indian market.

Hence the Indian craftsmen lost out in both scenarios.
