<body bgcolor ="r"> <font color =pink>Geothermal energy is produced by the heat of Earth's molten interior. This energy is harnessed to generate electricity when water is injected deep underground and returns as steam (or hot water, which is later converted to steam) to drive a turbine on an electric power generator.

Hello Royaljasleen30 !

Good Morning

It is nothing but the Thermal energy stored in the Earth.

This heat is used up to created steam to move the turbines and produce electricity. It is a renewable source of Energy and clean energy.

This heat is obtained by the magma beneath the crust in the mantle.

In India, the Ladakh region, Cambay region, the western coast of India, the Godavari valley, the Sikkim region, the middle course of Mahanadi river, and the major part of Madhya Pradesh including Jalgaon are the region which are best and suitable for the set up of Geothermal plants.

Thank You !
