Hii Friend,

Your answer is
-------------------------------------------
A heavy child sitting on one side of a see-saw is balanced by a smaller child, whose weight is less than the former, when he sits at a greater distance from the fulcrum or the axis of rotation.Obviously then, the turning effect of a force increases with the increase of its distance from the axis of rotation or fulcrum. We conclude that in order to rotate a body about a point or an axis we shall have to apply force on the body in such a way that the line of action of force does not pass through the point or the axis about which the body is to be rotated.
More is the force applied, more is the turning effect of the force.
