explain how it is possible to drink a liquid by using a straw? ​

The atmosphere pushes the liquid in the glass up into the straw .... when you inhale through the straw , you take the atmosphere out of the straw.

When we suck a straw, a low pressure is created inside the straw and there is high Pressure being put on the liquid by the atomosphere above. since air moves from high pressure to low pressure, the liquid rises inside the straw(having low pressure) from the glass(having high pressure)and eventually reaches our mouths.
