IN CASE OF LAW MAKING , the central govt. has all the power whereas the state govt. is just asked about voting for that law IN INDIA ONLY !

UNION LIST : Defence , War , Foreign Affairs ..

STATE LIST : Public health and sanitation , police , forests , etc.
