life processes in every organism is essential for action as well as survival prior to it. Processes like digestion and respiration are some processes which are common in human beings. These processes also have their own base/tradition of working. If any of the processes in any organism is missing/incomplete/unable to act then the following organism has to face critical life issues. But since it is not decided that, is life or death real, we cant say that the organism is dead. When a organism is not moving or not responding that doesnt mean it is dead it is just expressing the signal.
