Answer: Momentum is the product of velocity and mass, it is conserved in elastic collision, u can imagine that a ball collide with a wall and energy loss is zero (initial energy = final energy) energy of moving body is depends on mass and velocity, as during collision mass and speed can't be change hence momentum  is conserved
