According to Newton's First Law of Motion, "an object at rest remains at rest and an object in motion remains in motion until an unbalanced force acts upon it".
Inertia is that property of an object due to which an object resists any change in its state.
For example:-
On beating a blanket with rod, all dust particles got removed.
Since example is related to both Newton's first law of motion and inertia, therefore Newton's first law of motion is related to the concept of inertia.
Newton's first law of motion is also known as "law of inertia".

1)According to Newton s first law, " Every in animate body continues in its state of rest or of uniform motion in a straight line unless an external unbalanced force acts on it"
2)so, Newton s first law explain s us about inertia I.e. the " tendency" of an object to continue in its state of rest or of motion
3) eg. if a ball is moving is than it will continue to move unless an external unbalanced force acts on it
