We can say, Newton's Second law of Motion are used in Sports

As, Newton's second law of motion says F = m × a

Here

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀F = Force

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀M = Mass

⠀⠀⠀A = Acceleration

In sports, we have to use force either for batting in cricket, or kicking in socker. So, our force should be according to the mass and acceleration as per the formula.

In cricket as the batsman hits ball with greater force, the ball gets greater acceleration so it can travel more distance, chance to get a six! [F ∝ a for constant m]

Let the batsman provide constant force. The cricket ball can get greater acceleration if it's lighter. Lighter the ball, greater the acceleration. [a ∝ 1/m for constant F]

Sir Issac Newton was not only an English mathematician but also physicist and many more .

He is famous for the discovery of the force of gravity.

Newton 3 law's of Motion are as follows :-

  1. First Law :- Newton's First States that Every body remains at rest or in motion until an external Force is applied.
  2. Second Law :- Newton's Second States that whatever the Force is acting on any body is always equal to the product of it's Mass and Acceleration, we can simply say more force gives smaller acceleration.
  3. Third Law :- Newton's Third Law States that to every reaction there is an equal and opposite reaction
