Plants need nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus in large quantities.
• nitrogen in the air will come into the soil with the help of rain water.
• and bacteria like Rhizobium (nitrogen fixing bacteria) will help to fix nitrogen onto the root nodules of plants
• and in return, the plants give shelter to the bacteria.
( this is called as a symbiotic relationship)
• and after this nitrogen is in the plants, the consumers take in nitrogen in the form of plants and after the consumers die, the nitrogen will return to the air and soil
• This cycle goes on like this
