Since Half Of The Chromosome Come from Father And Half From Mother.

That's Why Offspring And Parents Have The Same Number Of Chromosomes.

EACH OF THE PARENT HAS 46 CHROMOSOMES. DURING SEXUAL REPRODUCTION AND FORMATION OF ZYGOTE, EACH PARENT CONTRIBUTES 23 CHROMOSOMES. THE PAIRED CONDITION IS RESTORED IN ZYGOTE AS 46 CHROMOSOMES ARE AVAILABLE(23 FROM MALE AND 23 FROM FEMALE). THUS, SAME NUMBER OF CHROMOSOMES ARE PRESENT IN PARENTS AND OFFSPRINGS.
