Explain how offsprings and parents of organisms have the same number of chromosomes.

hey friend

when gamete formation takes place whether egg or sperm the chromosome number gets half i.e 46 --->23 chromosomes
so when xx or xy chromosome form a zygote
the chromosome number become 2 times
I.e 2 x 23 = 46

so offspring and parent have same number of chromosomes.
