When adrenaline is secreted intothe blood it prepares our body for action. It speeds up heart beat and breathing, raises bloodpressure and allows more glucose(Carbohydrate) to go intothe blood to give us lot of energy quickly to run or fight. And Hence it is an emergency hormone.

When adrenaline is secreted then our heart beat increases and so does our bp. So the oxygen to muscles increases. The breathing rate also increases due to contraction of diaphragm and rib muscles. This enables the limbs to response more efficiently.
