The nervous system comprises of the brain, the spinal cord and the entire network of nerves that run through our body. The function of the nervous system is to gather, transfer and process all kinds of information. It uses nerve cells known as neurons that transmit the information throughout the body.

Explanation:

Nervous system helps in sending messages from one part of the body to the other . It contains of nerve cells or neurons . Neurons are the longest cells in the human body. Neurons help in receiving and sending messages. But there are two disadvantages about the nervous system , after it receives a message it needs some time for to reset . And the other disadvantage is that , all the nerve cells cannot reach each and every part of the cell .
