Animals pollinate plants, ensuring reproduction and fertilization. Animals also produce carbon dioxide, a gas necessary to plants in order for photosynthesis to occur. Besides this, dead animals are eventually broken down to enrich the soil that plants grow in.

The carbon dioxide that animals exhale as waste during respiration is the main thing plants depend on as the substance from animals.

Plants need animals to transfer there seeds to different places. Thats why some seeds have burs so they can stick to an animals fur. If animals didn't eat plants there would be too many plants and they would over run the earth.
