The power is shared in modern democracies into legislature, executive and judiciary.....

All modern democracies have these inorder to keep a regular check on each other.....no one is powerful than the other....judiciary resolves the conflicts between the citizens as well as the govt.s

legislature makes laws for the country..... judiciary has the power to strike off the laws made by the legislature if they violate the constitution.... or the basic rights of the citizens.... and executive applies the law...and works according to it....
