Explain how reading in monsoon winds are different from the northeast states

Retreating monsoon occurs in the months of October and November, the period which is associated with withdrawal of monsoon. During this period the influence of monsoon begins to turn weaker . It is ​the period of transition low pressure of the north-west shifts to the Bay of Bengal. It results in the formation of cyclones over the Bay of Bengal. It is called a transition period , where we witness transition fro m hot rainy season to dry winter season.

# North-east trade monsoon

During the cold weather season, the northeast trade winds prevail over the country.They blow from land to sea and hence, for most part of the country, it is a dry season.Some amount of rainfall occurs on the Tamil Nadu coast from these winds
