Hi,

Your answer:
Natural resources are the various mineral or biological resources necessary for the life of man and his economic activities. These can be subdivided into two distinct groups:

- Non-renewableresources, consisting of mineral raw materials and fossil fuels, which come from deposits formed during the geological history of the Earth and corresponding to a stock, which is in essence very exhaustible.

- Renewableresources that can, in principale, be exploited without depletion, being able to regenerate permanently. They include water, soils (arable land) and biological resources, which are made up of living communities exploited by man (forests, pastures, marine fisheries, biodiversity - animal and plant species) and genetic resources. (varieties of cultivated plants and breeds of domestic animals).

The latter group of resources can be considered inexhaustible only in so far as its rate of abstraction is lower than the net available productivity, ie the rate of regeneration. It is a prerequisite for the sustainable use of such resources and, therefore, for the preservation of the living conditions of future generations.
