Gandhiji devoted himself to fight against the inhuman practice of untouchability. He started a crusade to root out this evil and referred to the oppressed as 'Harijans' (sons of God). In his ashram, together with his followers, he performed all those tasks which were otherwise carried out by the untouchables.
But nowadays the fight and the sacrifice of 'Bapu'is going in vain.

The society based on equality is said to be only when there is no discrimination and untouchability between the castes , religion,colour,age,etc. and for that our Constitution gave us a right where no one discriminate you or treat you untouchable, there is a strict action against it . The Equality Act 2010 also implemented in our nation in which no one judge you based on your age,r religion, disability etc. Not only this ,many acts or laws have been implemented on our nation which helping to create our society based on equality.||
One more thing guys I have to say that Yes many laws have been implemented in our nation but the fact is we are not following . So please!! follow the laws
