Variations are basis of evolution. In sxual reproduction , two parents are required and gametes of both parents combine to form a zygote so different composition.
In asexual , only single parent reproduce to form a zygote .
This is the main reason for variation.
This effect evolution of those who reproduce sexually as we see more variations in sexually reproducing organisms we all are not same we are different in one way or other
Thankuuu hope it helps u..

Answer:

sexual reproduction causes viable variations due to the following reasons:

  1. error in copying of DNA which are not highly significant
  2. random signification of paternal and maternal chromosomes at the time of gamate formation.
  3. exchange of genetic material between Homologous chromosomes during formation of gametes
  4. accumulation of variation occured due to sexual reproduction over generation after generation of selection By Nature created by diversity

in the case of sexual reproduction only the very small changes due to inaccurancies in DNA copying pass on the progeny. thus offspring of a sexual reproduction are more or less genetically similar to their parents so it can be concluded that evolution in sexual reproduction organism proceeds at a faster pace in asexually reproducing organism.
