I believe following are some simple ways to show love for the country
Keep it clean as much as you can. You may not have the ability to mobilise others but you can do whatever is in your ambit.
Follow traffic rules. Never violate any traffic rules for any reason.
Do not bribe or accept it. If possible lodge a complaint with anti-corruption bureau if you see anyone indulging in this crime.
Respect your fellow citizens and their diversities. India is a diverse country and there are people belonging to many religions, castes, languages etc. Each community has its own culture and way of living. Respect the diversity and refrain from judging others.
Respect women and raise your voice against any wrong-doings towards them or towards any human being in that case.
Reduce pollution as much as you can. Use public transport if possible. Reduce using ACs. Plant trees if you can. Be kind to animals on street. Give food and water to them. If possible, have a rain harvest system at your home. Don’t waste water.
Cast vote without fail. Take wise decision while doing it.
Be kind and respectful towards semi-skilled and non-skilled workers.
Try not bargaining with small vendors especially those on streets. They don’t make huge profits.
Try buying indigenously manufactured stuff as much as possible, like Indian handloom cloth etc.
Be respectful towards police men. Some civilians have negative opinions on them but they do one of the most toughest jobs.
Don’t spread hate and negativity. This is rampant these days. Thanks to social media!
Don’t be a dependent. Make progress in your profession. It adds to country’s per capita income and GDP.
Lastly, if you are a man, don’t take dowry and if you are a woman, don’t offer.
