Your skin contains tiny nerve endings that create your sense of touch. When you experience sensations such as pain or heat or cold, or feel things that are soft or sticky or sharp, the bottom layer of your skin, called the dermis, sends messages to your brain about the sensation. So when you move around keep this in mind, your skin feels everything.

The skin contains receptor which are organ or cell which respond to external stimuli by sending signal to sensory nerve .Through these receptor we are able to feel touch ,pressure ,rise and decrease in temperature.Since the skin is able to sense the change in environment and it can respond to it ,it is known as sense organ.
