Explain how soil gets affected by the continuous plantation of crop in a field​

the plants uses up all the nutrients from the soil.

naturally when the plant dies and falls onto the ground, it provides nutrients for the soil but when we are not mixing died plant into the soil, the soil wont be replenished.
