when the school bell rang the particles of air gets vibrate by the sound wave if one particle vibrate so next will definitely vibrate by the action of first one .

this way the last particle vibrate near our ear and we heard the sound of school bell

When the school bell vibrates, it forces the adjacent particles in air to vibrate. This disturbance gives rise to a wave and when the bell moves forward, it pushes the air in front of it.
