ELECTRIC BELL:
It is an application of electro magnet.
CONSTRUCTION:
It is consisted of an iron yoke which is wound by copper wire.One end of the wiring is attached with terminal T1,push button,power supply and terminal T2 which is connected with contact screw with armature along with hammer.A mettalic gong is presentnear the hammer.
WORKING:
When push button is pressed current flows through the wineding which makes the iron yoke magnet which attracts the armature along with hammer and the hammer strikes the gong and sound is produced.This process repeats several times which causes the vibration of hammer and bell starts ringing...

When the school bell vibrates, it forces the adjacent particles in air to vibrate. This disturbance gives rise to a wave and when the bell moves forward, it pushes the air in front of it.
