Another way is by way of agglutination, which is the process whereby antibodies cause cells to clump together. Finally, antibodies can cause neutralization. This is a process whereby antibodies stick to dangerous substances so they cannot harm our body's cells.

Actually Agglutination, Neutralization and opsonisation are the main functions which are done by Antibodies.

Agglutination:- This type of Antibody is attach with the antigen which is present on the surface of pathogen which destroys the pathogen by cell lysis.

Neutralization:- This type of Antibodies neutralize the toxin of bacteria by attaching with them.

Opsonisation:- Coating of bacteria (Ag) with opsonin antibody (IgG and IgM) facilitates the phagocytes cells and these antibodies or opsonin promote phagocytosis by combination with antigen.
