Mesopotamia is found in the Fertile Cresent. There was fresh soil in the area which made it easier to farm. Populations cities grew because of the food and crops agriculture produced. Farming made life in cities a lot easier, people in mesopotamia finally found a reliable food source. The Tigris and Euphrates Rivers were important too, they provided a water source for the crops and drinking.
