The Hormones Glucagon and Insulin are inversely proportional to each other....and They both are secreated by pancreas and . The insulin hormone maintains the blood sugar level .when the blood sugar level increases then Insulin maintains it and When the insulin Hormone becomes in excess then Glucagon Supress it.......

Glucagon and insulin have opposite actions.Glucagon and insulin are hyperglycemic and hypoglycemic hormones,respectively.
Hypoglycemic hormone has the ability to decrease the blood glucose level;and insulin is the only hypoglycemic hormone...Hyperglycemic hormones have the ability to increase the blood glucose level .
