The human ear works to convert the sound stimulus into neural responses to hear the sound

Explanation:

  1. The sound from the environment travels as sound waves to the ears. The external ear gathers the sound waves and sends them to the ear canal
  2. The sound waves move and make the ear drum to vibrate.
  3. The vibration of the ear drum will set the three bony ossicles into motion
  4. The ossicle movement will in turn make the cochlear fluid to move
  5. The movement of cochlear fluid will drift the hair cells according to the pitch of the sound, which get converted to electrical neuro pulses.
  6. These pulses are transmitted to the brain by the auditory nerves for auditory reception and sound interpretation
