                                    Inspiring Stephen Hawking

Stephen Hawking’s life is a perfect example of the maxim ‘every cloud has a silver lining’. It has been said that those whom God chooses to be blessed, he first tests their worthiness by sending adversities to them. Jesus had to face so many adversities before he rose to heaven! Helen Keller had to face adversities on every step she put forward. She fought her darkness, hearing and speech disabilities and emerged as a better personality. Booker T Washington faced so many adversities and rose from being a slave to one of the most successful educationist in the world! Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther, Albert Einstein, all faced adversities and they never let them make them bitter. They made themselves better human beings and God blessed them with success in their fields. So we must sublimate our bitterness into betterment in the fire of adversities.

Another great human being whom adversities could not defeat was Stephen Hawking. The most amazing thing about him was his passion for his field in spite of his disability. In spite of being a paralytic, he continued to venture into the mysteries of the vast universe and unravel them. His works on the singularity of the origin of creation, black-holes, and time-travel are just superbly brilliant. His books have been best-seller. Personalities like him are the light of this world.
