The climate of india is largely affected by the monsoon winds. the monsoon winds are winds carrying moisture Laden clouds. when the monsoon winds come over India they cause rainfall which lowers the temperature of the places receiving rainfall and also the neighbouring places, this is how it affects the climate of india.
