Explanation:

can be tricky to determine exactly why an animal has the features it does, but on this point, it's clear: Birds' hollow bones don't make them any lighter. Bird skeletons don't weigh any less than mammal skeletons of the same size. After all, thin, hollow bones are more fragile, so they'd need to be made of much denser material to keep from breaking all the tim

Answer:

Explanation:

If u see by their nature they have hollow bones for flying,  floating on water,  and they get almost no damage after hitting some ware. they walk sit on branches and twigs easily because of their less weight because their bones are hollow . If the bones are not hollow then every things become opposite they cant fly now they do not have buoyancy their mussels cannot handle the weight of their own bones they have a great chance of dying . they will not be able to get food for them the branches thin cant handle their weight. because their skeleton weights more the energy they use is more they cant find food for the energy source they will die slowly but some will adapt for this condition like emu, ostrich  , etc. so some of them will live.
