→ the impulses then travel along the axon

→ SYNAPSE is a functional region between two neurons where the information from one neuron is transmitted to another neuron....
→ These impulses are finally delivered to the brain or spinal cord...
→ Though these regions are of minute gaps and they do not have any protoplasmic connections between them yet the information is passed from one nerve cell to the other through these gaps either in the form of chemical or electrical signals
