Gandhiji started the Non-Cooperation Movement in 1920. This is combining with the Khilafat movement led by Muhammad Ali and Shaukat Ali.
• Both Hindus and Muslims are fighting for a common cause. Both actively participate in the freedom struggle.
• Not only common people but some other groups are also joined and participated actively in cooperation movement.
• Gandhiji had transformed his lifestyle like a common man. Not only his lifestyle and also his duties, but routines are also added to his status in the emergence as a national leader.

Including many incidents, it was mainly due to Chauri Chaura in 1922, which made Gandhiji withdrew Non- Cooperation movement.
