Evaporation is related to the intermolecular forces of attractions the following ways -


-If the rate of evaporation of is more it means that the intermolecular forces of attraction are weak as less energy has to be supplied to the atoms to overcome the forces of attraction and evaporate.


- On the other hand, if the rate of evaporation is less it means that more energy is required to overcome the intermolecular forces thus indicating strong forces of attraction.
