The monsoon refers to the rainy season in the Telengana .This normal around October to December .The humid Southwest winds usually cause heavy down pours which are indeed an important factor in agricultural productivity in Telengana. Most of the farmers in telengana do not have any other means other than to depend on t,he rain .Agriculture forms one of the major contributors of their economy.

Telangana is a South Indian state which generally has dry weather conditions.

As kharif crop is the major agricultural output of India, it requires large amount of water.

This state of India obviously depends upon the Southwest monsoons which prevail from June to September thereby leading to better yield.
