The soul is within you actually, when you die your soul comes out(Don't try it) The imagination done by you is because of your soul.

Soul is the witness of all experiences, it is the entity which experiences .
Soul should be something which is permanent, not transient. Hence, Soul can’t be thoughts, memories, feelings, emotions, perception,logic, reasoning, sense objects like touch, vision, sound, etc., because all these entities are temporary but soul experiences all this and remain the witness of all these experiences.
Hence, the closest modern term for soul can be “Awareness” or “Consciousness”. It is pure, it is what makes us alive, without it we are lump of organic matters. It’s no coincidence that there is “hard problem of consciousness” in philosophy because soul indeed is beyond thoughts.
