To join IIT one needs to take care off the followings : Must pass 12 th board exam with 75% , 65%(SC/ST) or should be in top 20 percentile in the respective board . Must take JEE main and should qualify to take JEE adv . Must obtain a decent AIR in JEE adv to be eligible to get seat in IIT .
