numericals in structure of atom are based on :
1. number of protons=number of electrons=atomic number
for example,if number of protons in an element is 7 then we can say that atomic number and number of electrons of that element is also 7
2. number of protons +no. of neutrons= atomic mass.
for example, if atomic mass of an element is 12 and number of protons are 6 then the number of neutrons=12-6=6
3. fractional atomic mass will be based on atomic mass and given percentage
for example, if bromine is available in the form of 2 istopes 1.atomic mass of bromine is 79 and 49.7% and 2. atomic mass is 81 and 50.3 % then average atomic mass will be (79×49.7%)+ (81×50.3%)
= 79×0.497+ 81×0.503
= 80.006 u
