yes transpiration is effected by humidity.

humidity is the percentage of water molecules present in the air at constant temperature. if atmosphere contains too many water molecules air cannot accommodate extra water vapour so transpiration rate is low in this situation.if atmosphere contains less no. of water molecules air can accommodate more no. of water molecules so transpiration rate is high in this situation.
